Skilled TypeWell Transcriber. Are you seeking a new line of work or a supplement to your current income? Visual Communication Interpreting is currently seeking individuals interested in becoming a certified TypeWell transcriber. Qualified Applicant will have:
- High School diploma
- Able to type 60 wpm without error
- Excellent listening skills
- Superior English skills
- Basic understanding of computers and word processing
- Motivation to succeed as a transcriber
- Work well as a professional in an educational setting

Nationally Certified American Sign Language Interpreter. Visual Communication Interpreting (VCI) hires only the very best American Sign Language interpreters to work with our established team of professionals.
The following characteristics describe a VCI interpreter:
- Nationally certified by RID (all certifications)/NAD (level IV and V only)/EIPA (4.0 or higher)
- College educated (Associates degree or above)
- Sound ethical decision making and compliance with the RID Code of Professional Conduct
- Positive attitude and a smile
- Respect, integrity, professionalism
- Involved in the deaf community through event attendance and/or volunteering time, skill, talent
The VCI team is a unified group with a common goal of providing excellent sign language interpreting services to every individual (deaf and hearing) at every interaction, every time, while maintaining confidentiality of all information, respect for all involved, and a friendly smile because we understand that without a community and without customers, VCI ceases to exist.
