We are committed to confidentiality!

Hiring VCI interpreters is a vote of confidence and trust from you.  In return, we pledge in return a commitment to excellence, never settling for average, paying attention to detail and performing with consistency.   That is what you can expect when you hire a VCI interpreter.

Confidentiality

Visual Communication Interpreting (VCI) and our independent contract interpreters will not disclose, discuss, evaluate, distribute or reproduce any material included in or related to any and all assignments issued to VCI by its clients; thereby adhering to and honoring our professional code of conduct established by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) as well as fulfilling the federal requirement of confidentiality of the HIPAA law.

Commitment to Quality and Excellence

With VCI you will feel confident knowing that our scheduler/coordinator is a certified interpreter and is knowledgeable about Deaf culture as well as the profession of interpreting.  The certified interpreter that fills your request comes from a pool of professionals who sign fluently, both expressively and receptively, and are accurate in the interpretation they provide.  VCI professionals arrive on-time, are  professionally dressed, carry a VCI ID badge and are friendly and respectful to each person they come in contact with.

Prompt and Courteous Customer Service

Convenience is a top priority.  VCI provides the GridCheck Online Scheduling System for quick and easy interpreting requests.  Others prefer our secure online web form. Regardless of how you make your request, within 24 hour you will receive a confirmation with the name of the nationally certified interpreter assigned to your request.

Nationally Certified Sign Language Interpreters

VCI’s interpreting pool consists of 21 certified professionals who have met the qualifications required by the certifying professional organization RID. Each maintains a National Interpreter Certification (NIC Advanced, NIC, CI/CT, or CSC) from RID and/or the National Association of the Deaf (NAD V, VI).
