WHAT WE ASK FROM YOU:
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associates Degree or BA/BS (preferred)
  • 2+ years of hands on administrative support experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Publisher
  • Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task effectively and efficiently

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Administrative Assistant
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system.
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, emails.
  • Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes.  Responsible for accuracy.
  • Perform desktop publishing.  Create and develop visual presentations.
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence.
  • Perform data entry and scan documents.
  • Manage calendar for CEO.
  • Respect, integrity/honesty, and professional.
  • Positive attitude and a smile.
  • Runs errands.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for CEO.
  • Maintain and update library of professional books, journals and magazines.
  • Maintain office supply department.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Able to move head, neck, arms, hands, and torso.
  • Able to walk, kneel, stoop and crouch.
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 10lbs.
  • Able to interpret continuously without a break for a period of up to two hour.
  • Able to hear spoken language at a normal conversational sound level.
  • Able to speak English in proper grammar.
  • Visual abilities to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
